D&G spring/summer 2011
of spring!!!! yayayayayy :) unfortunately, it's a bit cold outside, but at least it's sunny. also unfortunately, it's gonna rain tomorrow :/
spring has never been too significant because in California, the seasons kind of just blend together. but out here, you can definitely tell when the seasons change. it's like being in a house where all the room are completely separated by walls. you walk into another room and it's totally different than the last one. but in California, it's like being in a house where it's really open and not really any walls. you walk into the living room from the kitchen and it's still the same. different kind of room, a little differently decorated, but you're still in the same big room, not separated from the kitchen by a wall. wow, I'm not sure if that made any sense at all, but that's how I'm picturing it. every season out here is distinctly different from each other. the way they look, the way they feel, even the way they smell.
and that's why I've been so excited for spring this year. I've been wanting to step out of winter: the freezing cold air, the snow, the bare trees, the jackets and layers. so I'm so happy spring is finally really here! i can feel it in the air. even though the allergies have already started to kick in, i couldn't be any happier! :)

p.s. new york yesterday was a hot mess. well, it was kinda fun, but my aunt is crazy, that's all i'm saying right now. i'll explain everything later. with pictures! which i don't have too many of unfortunately :/
