i kinda don't get it. can't people who aren't single just celebrate their love for their significant other on their anniversary? why do we need another day for that? i don't know, whatever.
anyway, we had a pretty good day here. IT WAS WARM!!!! windy, but warm! i was the happiest person in the world. me and mackenna went the long way to pick up holden. we went to rite aid then a little later, we went on another walk to the mail box. ohh i LOOOOVE warm weather! i wish spring would just be here already! i can't wait to go to D.C. and central park to take pictures of the cherry blossoms!!!
found cadbury eggs at rite aid so i couldn't resist! but 3 mini bags to share with holden and a reese's egg for mackenna
everyone was in a good mood today and we played together and hung out on my bed for a little while. when carrie came home, she gave holden and mackenna valentines and gave me a little box of chocolates too :) then we had a little heart shaped easter egg hunt. ate candy. made dinner and sugar cookies. after dinner we decorated the sugar cookies. the kids went to bed and i stayed up till 10 frosting. ugh. and no, i didn't even finish. i went into my room and watched Valentine's Day. pretty stupid movie. T Swift was ridiculous. but i thought the movie was fitting. ha.

well the day ended up being better than i thought it would be. i wasn't stuck at hom all day with the kids, so that was nice! worst part of the day? having to see everyones ANNOYING statuses about either being single and miserable or being so uberly in loooove with their boyfriends. it's like THANKS FOR SHARING BUT NO ONE CARES!! eeshh
