it snowed during the night and was snowing for most of the morning. but that didn't stop us from exploring some more downtown! but first, we went to the Boston temple. it was really pretty, especially with the snow. carrie wanted me to take pictures of them since the photoshoot didn't go very well. but i only have a point-and-shoot so mine weren't much better.
then we took the T back downtown. {a little thing about the T: there's three lines, the red, blue and orange. the green one is the best. because the track doesn't just go straight. it makes sudden turns and curves and stops. it's so much fun! it reminded me of harry potter, where the bus like swerves through traffic and changes to squeeze through cars and stuff. ya, so cool. ok back to what i was saying before...} this time, we spent all day in the italian district (wow another post about italy...). i loved it there!

we walked around the whole area, went to Mike's, a super cool and popular italian pastry shop. we got a big box full of yummy, beautiful desserts!
then we ate lunch at Ye Olde Union Oyster House. it's apparently america's oldest resatraunt. it's a really cool place. it's huge and has two stories. and it had a gift shop in it, which always means that it's a good restaraunt. i got clam chowder (again) and the scallops and shrimp with tomato cream sauce over rice. SOOOOO amazing!

then we headed home because we saw pretty much everything we wanted to and everyone had school and work the next day.

once we got home, it was only 9 and everyone was still awake so we all ate our yuuummmmyyy desserts from mike's. i got a chocolate chip connoli and a red velvet whoopie pie!
i'm craving some more right now!!
Holden actually didn't have school on tuesday, he had a 5 day weekend! and carrie's school ended up being cancelled because of like one inch of snow. pansies! haha but it was fine with me because i got to sleep in and do nothing all day! (pretty much all i ever do)
