he was too cold to smile
my first snow angel! i got snow down my pants....and the snow was past my ankles.
the boots mackenna's wearing are about 3 sizes too big for her hahaha
when she's cold she doesnt move or talk or smile. and i was too cold to do anything about my camera strap...
welp, I'm frozen right now. I'm trying to defrost....but i think it's permanent. we went sledding (my first time!) and it was so much funnnn. i definitely need me some snow gear though! it was like ice blocking but less dangerous....well ok i did eat it and almost died a couple of times today, but ice blocking causes more injuries and bruising and grass stains.
we went out and bought a sled-they only had inflatable ones left. but it was way better than regular plastic sleds! we found an awesome hill area right across the street from Holden's school. a bunch of people were sledding there. but it was right next to the parking lot of the rec center...sooo when you get to the bottom of the hill sometimes you (me) would go OVER the big piles of snow that were plowed from the parking lot, then land on the gravel. ha ya...those were the times that i almost died and should have been wearing some serious safety gear. it was so worth it though. and we're going again tomorrow :)

p.s. i wanttttt this boarding jacket and pants from Burton!! too bad i DO have enough money, because it's reallyy tempting.
YOU'RE cold?? uhm, i wake up and go to work every morning in SINGLE DIGIT TEMPS!! this morning it was 3 degrees outside. THREE! that's almost to ZERO.
ReplyDeletesledding is fun though, especially in fluffy soft snow. we only have ice these days, and that wreaks a lot more havoc than snow does.
